The following activities are carried out under Ward Committee No. 2 within the limits of Ahilyanagar Municipal Corporation.

Ward Committee No. 2 is responsible for supervising and controlling all the departments under the office and taking action on office correspondence and complaints received from citizens.

1) The City Revenue Department shall levy new taxes on newly acquired properties, take records of any changes in property use, collect property taxes (water tax and house tax), distribute property tax bills, and handle all property tax related matters and resolve citizen complaints regarding property tax.

2) City Solid Waste Department Through this department, all the work related to cleanliness, sanitation and taking action on complaints received from citizens is done in the area coming under Ward Committee No. 2.

3) Birth and Death Department: All related work is done regarding issuing birth and death certificates to citizens of the areas falling under the ward.

4) City Unauthorized Construction Control and Encroachment Removal Department: This department carries out all the work related to unauthorized construction control and encroachment removal as per the complaints received from the citizens of the city.

5) City Water Supply Department: This department handles the work of providing new water connections, repairing water pipes and closing water pipes as per the demand applications of the citizens of the city. In this way, the office work of City Ward Committee No. 2 is done.
