1. To collect tax collected on buildings in the city.

2. To levy a tax on newly constructed buildings within the limits of Ahilyanagar Municipal Corporation during the financial year as per the rate determined zone-wise.

3. To personally investigate complaints received regarding collection of taxes and dispose of the complaints as per the provisions of the Act.

4. Maintaining up-to-date records of collected taxes and other related taxes.

5. To collect information on the complaint forms of citizens in Ward Committee Office No. 1,2,3,4 which come under the Right to Information Act.

6. To register new income tax records by encroaching on the vacant land of the approved drawing within the M.N.P.A. boundary and to record it on the computer.

7. New tax assessment reports from Ward Committee Office No. 1,2,3,4 should be submitted to the Hon'ble Deputy Commissioner of Tax through the Assistant Valuation Officer.

8. Submitting information regarding pending cases in the Hon. District Court, Hon. High Court.

9. Information Officer, matters received during Lokshahi Din, correspondence from government offices, preparation of estimate sheets.

10. Submitting proposals to the Hon. Standing Committee and Hon. General Assembly.

11. Pay the appropriate property transfer fee and scrutinize the matter and enter it into the computer.
