Introduction regarding work:
1. To exercise control over the employees of the Labor Department as the Labor Officer in Charge.
2. To oversee the functioning of departmental inquiries as an inquiry officer.
3. To supervise and control the work of the cases related to the office of the Assistant Labour Commissioner, Hon. Industrial and Labour Court, Hon. High Court, Hon. Supreme Court with the Labour Department.
4. As per the orders of the Hon'ble Commissioner, to inspect the matters of contract workers under the Minimum Wages Act and to make arrangements with the Assistant Labour Commissioner in this regard.
