Introduction regarding work:

Hon. Government's order Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana National Urban Livelihood Mission is being implemented in Ahilyanagar Municipal Corporation. Under Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana National Urban Livelihood Mission Department. To fulfill the objectives of various components given by Hon. Government. The work of the following components is being done.

1) The component of social circulation and institutional building has an organizational division into three levels.

1) First level First level Women's Self-help Groups: 10 women's self-help groups will be formed according to the socio-economic demographics of the population (70 percent of the socio-economic demographics are women and the remaining 30 percent are scheduled castes, tribes, women, disabled, minorities). The five-point program of self-help groups is implemented. A self-help group can also be formed for disabled men. A revolving fund of Rs. 10,000 (literally ten thousand only) is given to the self-help group as a grant after three months.

II) Secondary Level- In the secondary level, a village level is established by forming one woman from each of the 10-20 self-help groups. Each village level association is given a working capital fund of Rs. 50,000 (Fifty thousand rupees in words, but is given in the form of a grant).

III) In the third tier cities, a city level team is formed by taking one woman from all the village level teams. Along with this, resource institutions, provision of banking services to the poor, National Health Insurance, etc. have been linked. To make these facilities available, an urban livelihood center has been set up in the cities.

2) Availability of employment through skill training: In this component, beneficiaries of the socio-economic census and Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, women, minorities and disabled citizens are provided with skill training and are linked to improved employment opportunities.

3) Self-employment program: In this component, loans are provided through banks to individuals and self-help groups for doing collective business. Through the personal loan scheme, loans of up to two lakh rupees and up to ten lakh rupees for collective business are provided through banks. A subsidy of 10.7 percent above the interest rate on the loan taken is provided by the scheme. If women self-help groups repay the loan taken within the specified period, an additional subsidy of 10.3 percent is given to them as an incentive on the interest rate.

4) Assistance to hawkers: In this component, emphasis is placed on developing skills based on the city market, improving their livelihood. Preparing and developing a plan for city hawkers, developing necessary infrastructure in the hawker sector, providing them with social security, and guiding them to get bank loans and other bank facilities.

5) Shelter for the urban homeless Since shelter is a basic human need, a permanent shelter with basic amenities will be provided to the extremely poor. A shelter has been provided to provide shelter to the homeless. In this shelter, kitchen water, toilet light entertainment etc. facilities have been provided.
